Rentals start at $800 for a 2-hour wakesurf charter. Half-day party barge rentals start at $1,700. Full-day (8 hr) packages range from $1,900–$3,000 depending on the boat. All prices include gas, toys, safety gear, and a USCG captain. Captain fee is additional at $50/hr + tip, paid day-of.
Every rental includes: full tank of gas, water toys (boards, tubes, floaties, lily pad), all life jackets and safety gear, a cooler, premium Bluetooth stereo, and a USCG-certified captain. Bring your ice, food, sunscreen, and a downloaded playlist (cell service can be spotty).
Yes — all WakeBusters rentals require a USCG-certified captain. You can hire one of our experienced local captains ($50/hr + tip, day-of), or bring your own licensed captain. Our captains are lifelong Tahoe locals who know every hidden gem on the lake.
All departures are from Tahoe Keys Marina, 2435 Venice Drive E, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. There is parking at the marina (first come, first served) — plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early for parking, loading, and your safety briefing.
Safety is always our priority. In severe weather, your captain will return to the marina. Tahoe WakeBusters offers a full refund for cancellations 7+ days in advance, and a rain check or full refund in the event of weather that makes boating unsafe.
